Green Arrow #34 Review

What is this all about?

Oliver Queen is back in star city. Ready to face trial for his Murder charge. Can the Emerald Archer get off or will he suffer life in prison!

The Review

The issue picks up right where the last one left off. Moira, Oliver’s mother shows up. She starts by telling Oliver about her rough childhood and how she decided to never be helpless again.

Moria has joined the Ninth circle, and as part of her initiation, she faked her death and left her son. It cuts to Diggle helping patch up Merlin. It seems that the two have become friends. Oliver teams up with Dinah to take down the Clock king.

Meanwhile, Diggle is begrudgingly helping Merlin. Oliver meets him mom. She knows he’s Arrow and wants to help him take down the Ninth Circle. Stay tuned for next week.

Final Words

The issue was a bit scattered. Overall there were a few to many stories. The art is just as gorgeous as ever. I highly recommend this series, even with this arc being a little convoluted. The rest of the series more than makes up for it.
