In this issue, Green Arrow teams up with Batgirl to find answers to why Brainiac is invading Earth.
Julie & Shawna Benson’s writing was consistent with issue one of Justice League No Justice, down to the exact wording when Oliver confronts Amanda Waller. Seeing Oliver team up with someone other than his usual allies was a fun change of pace. His team up with Barbara Gordon was not too far from believable considering her close connection with Black Canary. This issue was fun and full of action, making for great connective tissue for the Justice League No Justice series.
Having Carnero on art for this issue was like a breath of fresh air, each panel of Carnero’s art was incredibly detailed. The change felt necessary for this tie-in issue, it may not be Francis Manapul, but it was just as clean.
