Glitterbomb: The Fame Game #3 Review

Glitterbomb: The Fame Game #3

Writer: Jim Zub
Artist: Djibril Morissette-Phan
Colorist: K. Michael Russell

The series is going to wrap up with the next issue, but there was a lot to dive into in this penultimate issue. The entity that inhabited Farrah Durante plays a big part in this issue because the entity confronts Officer Issac and Kaydon.  The meeting with Kaydon was the more productive of the two because the entity has let its intentions known to Kaydon, and Kaydon appears to be onboard with all it has to offer.

Not only does the entity meet Officer Issac and Kaydon, but it also makes itself known Martina. Martina is Kaydon’s best friend and would do anything for Kaydon. Martina has always been loyal to Kaydon even before the fame, but the entity senses the feelings Martina has for Kaydon and takes advantage.

I’m sad to see this series wrapping up again, but I am enjoying the story and art.  Jim Zub is telling his story and isn’t letting the story drag.  After every issue has ended in the series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next issue.  Djibril Morissette-Phan and K. Michael Russell continue their amazing work as the art team and can’t wait to see what else they do in the future. And the great thing about all these issues, is the back matter.  I have never been interested in fame or Hollywood, but the back matter is very interesting and has opened up my eyes to fame and everything that comes with it.  I know series is wrapping with the next issue, but please read this series.  The first trade is only 9.99 and the second won’t be too far behind.  This is series has a great pace, an awesome story, and great art to go with it, so check it out.
