Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe again #2

We all know the fun loving, joke telling, slicing and dicing Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool, but in Deadpool kills the marvel universe again #2 he seems to be going through some identity issues. This issue starts off just like the first issue with another murder! And this time the victim is Eddie Brock AKA Venom. Some heroes including Moon Knight, The Punisher, Jessica Jones, and Kate Bishop are hot on his trail but haven’t been able to quite get ahead of him.

In this issue we see Deadpool take out some of the big names in current comic rotation like both Spider-Men Miles Morales and Peter Parker, he also takes out Spider-Woman. Are you starting to see a trend here? If your a hero and you have an association with spiders you have a target on your back! While the super heroes trying to capture Deadpool decide to split up to help cover more ground Deadpool is living in an altered perception of reality that he can’t shake loose.

In Issue #1 we saw the villains Doctor Doom, Magneto, Red Skull, and others that are behind creating this altered state that Deadpool is experiencing. In a panel we see Doom and Red Skull have a private conversation that turns out to not be so private, when GwenPool is able to gather very helpful intel to report back to Moon Knight to hopefully help the heroes gain the upper hand. Let’s see how the tables turn in issue #3!

In reading this issue the first thing I noticed is how Artist Dalibor Talajic does such a phenomenal job with depicting his art based on Deadpool’s perception of reality. Wacky and very animated during the dream killing sequences and realistic and highly detail work during actual reality in this book. And when you have a rockstar of a writer like Cullen Bunn you know the book is destined for great things. This Duo hit a homer in with the first Deadpool kills the marvel universe and they seem to be headed in the same route with vol. 2.
